You may feel unsure of yourself and your path today, which can cause you to respond noncommittally to others' requests for advice or aid. You may, however, find that you feel guilty saying no to those who approach you for favors. You will likely find relief from your uncertainty faster if you concentrate on working through your own personal and professional issues before endeavoring to help others. You should not take on a great deal of outside responsibility today unless you know that you have enough free time to do so without hindering your efforts.

Just as it is important to our well-being that we keep our word, it is important that we do not commit ourselves in ways that will interfere with our physical or emotional health. Many people are taught from childhood on that saying no to those who ask for favors or help is innately rude. However, the reality is that each of us has been blessed with a limited store of energy and a limited range of capabilities. When we learn to say no to those commitments that will prevent us from meeting our own needs, we ensure that we do not grow to resent the individuals benefiting from our efforts. Instead, we feel good that we were able to give some portion of our resources to others while still successfully seeing to our own concerns. You will be more amicable to the notion of making promises today when you accept that you need not make promises to all who petition you.
